We remember those who died and those who still suffer as a result of the attack on America 20 years ago today.
On June 1, 2002, in President George W. Bush's speech to West Point graduates, he stated:
"In defending the peace we face a threat with no precedent. Our security will require all Americans to be forward looking and resolute, to be ready for preemptive action when necessary to defend our liberty and to defend our lives."
Disaster comes in many forms and can strike anywhere quickly and without warning.
Being prepared ensures that when disaster occurs, you will be ready to respond to it effectively. However, no amount of preparedness will matter if you are under the influence of alcohol or other drugs when the time comes for you to act. The National WCTU reminds you - NOW, More Than EVER...America Needs YOU to be Drug-Free!
